W-005: ecs-prefab spec (v0)

Goal

Specify the v0 of ecs-prefab with SpecWriter: - a Prefab tag, kept out of normal queries; - instantiate(prefab, overrides), which copies traits and adds an IsA pair; - variants that copy along the IsA chain.

Shared storage is out of scope (see concept §4). When the spec is approved, Triage creates one feature item per requirement group.

Steps

  • S1: research flecs prefabs and bitECS IsA, and check which koota APIs to use (Explorer); files: –
  • S2: write the spec; files: docs/specs/ecs-prefab.md
  • S3: user approves the spec
